Q: Why is the colour of these pads black?
A: The market is full of white pads and we wanted to give our customers an option in different colours. Moreover, these pads do not use any bleach or harmful chemicals to whiten and are made of only natural ingredients like cassava, straw bale, charcoal etc.

A: Yes, it is biodegradable. The pad along with its wrap is made of a bioplastic known as PLA. It decomposes in 8-24 months, subject to surrounding conditions like temperature, humidity, presence of bacteria etc. So a place like a composting pit is ideal for its decomposition.

Q: How will I know when I need to change my pad?
A: Irrespective of the colour, it is a good practice to change your sanitary pad every 3-5 hours.

Q: How will I monitor my flow?
A: The texture of the black pad changes as it absorbs the menstrual blood. You would also feel the pad getting a bit heavier with time.
